Endogenous glucose oxidase activity does not exist in
mammalian tissues, so the VECTASTAIN® ABC-GO Kit can be
used when endogenous peroxidases or alkaline phosphatases
interfere with specific staining and when blocking of that
endogenous enzyme activity is ineffective or would destroy
antigenic determinants. The VECTASTAIN® ABC Glucose
Oxidase Kit is the least sensitive of the VECTASTAIN® ABC
systems.
These kits are sufficient to stain approximately 1000 - 2000 sections or fifty 100 cm2 blots.
