Mouse monoclonal antibody suitable for immunohistochemistry.
Functional Aspects:
Utrophin is a homologue of dystrophin. In normal muscle,
utrophin expression is restricted to neuromuscular junctions. In
dystrophin-deficient muscle, utrophin may be up-regulated and
is also present around the periphery of most muscle fibers. This
clone was generated using a fusion protein containing the first
261 amino acids of the published DMDL gene sequence.
